Show Home Property Staging

On a quiet, leafy road in North London’s Muswell Hill, a children’s home was bought by a local developer and converted into two stunning, symmetrical, six-bed family homes. The developer expertly married the original Edwardian features with the latest high tech, high-quality fixtures and fittings and expected a quick sale for both houses.

When six months passed with no offers, the owner contacted JS Property Staging for help. We could see that viewers would struggle to make sense of the open plan spaces and found the properties stark and uninviting. With young families in mind, we staged one of the two houses with stylish, comfortable and contemporary furniture and warm colours and textures, creating separate spaces for dining, relaxing, entertaining, sleeping and studying. We introduced cosiness and privacy by adding white wood Venetian blinds to the front of the house and vibrancy with large architectural plants.

With the staged house under offer within a matter of weeks, we staged the second house which sold a few weeks later.
