In the heart of London’s Arsenal, facing the steps to the Emirates Stadium, a derelict, three-storey, Edwardian house was beautifully restored to a four-bed family home. The previous owners had retained many of the beautiful original features and a modern extension brought much needed natural light into the open plan kitchen/diner.
A quick sale was expected, but after six months on the market, there was not a single offer. Viewers reported that the property felt cold and that they struggled to make sense of the open plan spaces. The agent brought us on board to avail of our refurbished property staging service.
With a young family (and Arsenal supporters) in mind, we selected warm tones and soft textures to help each room feel cosy and inviting. Furniture was carefully positioned to divide the spaces and give viewers an idea of how each room could feel with their own furniture.
The house was under offer at the asking price within four weeks.
